How to publish data on the EIDF

To start, please apply for a project on the EIDF Portal. The EIDF documentation walks you through the process.

Data licences

The licensing of a data set determines how users have access for their research and innovation.
  • Open data sets are available through EIDF S3 buckets publicly for free. They are shown on the EIDF Catalogue.
  • Private data sets require permissions from the data owners, who also manage the S3 access tokens, and incur a fee to deposit as per the "Access to the EIDF" page. They are not shown on the EIDF Catalogue.
  • The data deposited must align with the EIDF Third-Party Data policy
